Day 1: Arrival Athens – Delphi – Arachova.(_,_,D)
Arrival in Athens airport. Meet our staff and welcome. Pick up the Jeeps and drive from Athens to Delphi. Delphi city considered by the ancients Greeks to be the center (omphalos= navel) of the world and a religious center. Guided visit to the archaeological site and museum. Short drive to traditional village of Arachova for overnight.

Day 2: Arachova – Parnassos mountain caves – Oiti mountain – Karpenisi / Koryschades village (B,L,D)
Morning driving through the dense fir forest to the cave of Eptastomos, 100m deep. The interior of the cave can be visited only by experienced climbers using rappel techniques. We crawl on a rocky peak to get a glimpse inside the cave from its entrance. We continue driving near to Neraidospilia (nymphs cave). Short, 20min walk, on an ascending path in the heart of the forest and we reach Neraidospilia cave, composed of 3 different caverns full with stalactites, stalagmites, pools and fossiliferous rocks. We drive to traditional settlrment of Vargiani (85 inhabitants) for a short stop for coffee. We continue to Pira and through dense forest to Oiti Mountaineering Club refuge. This is an amazing route crossing the National Park of Oiti mountain, perhaps the most beautiful mountain in Greece. The landscape changes from alpine meadows to plateaus and steep slopes that take your breath away. We continue to villages Kastania, Spercheiada, Makrakomi and driving next to Sperchios river we arrive to Karpenisi / Koryschades village for overnight.

Day 3: Explore Evritania, Crossing Kalakouda mountain – Panta vrechi waterfalls – Prousos Monastery – Black cave(B,L,D)
We drive south on the slopes of Mount Kaliakouda, a ride at a high of 1700m through beautiful forests and vertical cliffs we arrive at Krikellopotamos river from where we start our river hiking (aprox1 hr) to “Panta Vrexi* (Always Raining) waterfalls which form ponds where we can swim. Picnic in the area. Following the spoil road again and driving next to Spylias canyon we arrive to Prousos Monastery where we can visit the monastery, Then hiking(1 hr) through the beautiful gorge of Black cave with the wooden bridges and incredible waterfalls we reach Black Cave, where you will be able to combine climbing through Via Ferrata. Return to hotel in late afternoon with a stop at Megalo Chorio to enjoy the local sweets with a nice cup of coffee. In the evening Greek night at a tavern with bouzouki music (and optional dancers) at a nearby village.

Day 4: Crossing East Agrafa to Plastyras Lake – Kastraki / Meteora (B,L,D)
We start our day from Koryschades. We pass the iron Bridge of Tavropos and moving west we reach the Monastery of Sotira for a short stop in the beautiful plane tree forest and stone bridges. Then we continue our route towards Tavropos river admiring the scenery of Kremaston lake. Then driving parallel to Agrafiotis river and follow the dirt road through the trees and steep slopes we reach Archangels church built in 1592 and from there we drive to Agrafa village with its century plane trees and cold water fountains. From Agrafa we continue again with dirt road in a magical journey to the forest village Dryades and from there to the dam of Plastira Lake. We continue the road with panoramic views of lake and passing the villages Neohori, Kalyvia Pezoulas, Kryoneri, Kerassia,we reach Mouzaki. Then we pass the stone bridge of Portas and we drive north to Elati, Glykomilia. In this beautiful track on our right we see the imposing presence of Mount Koziakas. We continue the road that will lead us to Kalambaka and then to Kastraki, Meteora. Overnight at Kastraki.
Note. If time permits beffore your dinner go to a nearby photo viewpoint (best location Sunset Rock) for stunning views and amazimg photos.

Day 5: Meteora monasteries visit – Pelion / Portaria – Hiking Centaurus path. (B,L,D)
After breakfast guided visit to two monasteries, standing between earth and the sky, atop of huge rocks and containing historical and religious treasures. Continue driving to Volos, Portaria. In the afternoon follow the Greek Mythology. Walk in the mythical path (3km) of Centaurus (half-man, half horse) with amazing views of the forest and the small waterfalls. From Volos we drive to Makrinitsa and Portaria for overnight overnight.

Day 6: Explore Pelion – Volos – Athens (B,_,_)
This morning we explore Pelion with its traditional villages and staming views. From Portaria we drive to Hania and getting dirt / asphalt roads we cross central Pelion, we pass Ai Lias, and descending to the villages of the Aegean Sea we reach Zagora and Chorefto. Continue with dirt / asphalt road driving we reach the sea side village St. John and next Tsagarada, where we stop for coffee. Continue driving to Milies and then Volos where we have a rest and buy the local spirit tsipouro. Then we start our long driving to Athens airport for your flight back home.
