Rhodes Weather Day 4 - Depart (10:30 a.m) by ferry to Karpathos (3.0
hrs) for a stay of 3 nights in a hotel or studio at Karpathos town
Karpathos island, second in size at Dodecanese, being further south of Rhodes has the same weather and the same sunny periods as Rhodes. Being there, try to attend one of the many summer traditional festivals, especially the ones in the August and beginning of September, and you get the filling of bitterness. You'll see people dancing but not laughing. It is the 'good buy' fiesta of the thousands of Karpathian immigrants to their relatives and friends left behind in the island, as the return back to their second country. Day 7 - Depart (13:30 p.m) by ferry to Crete (3.0 hrs) for a stay of
7 nights
Day 14 – One(1) night stay in a 3*or 2* plus hotel in Athens city center. Visit by your own to Acropolis and its museum, Parhtenon , Athens archeological Museum, walk in the city center and at Plaka, the old Athens town, or take half a day sightseeing tour.
